When it comes to stunning car collections, storage space is essential. A Signature Home custom-built garage can offer the area required to store and care for vehicles of value. Here are three of our favorite celebrity car collectors who know what it takes to accommodate automobiles.

Nicola Bulgari
This luxury billionaire keeps his car collection in seven warehouses on his 21-acre compound right in our backyard, in Allentown, PA. He has an affinity for American-made cars and has 150 of them throughout these warehouses. On top of that, he keeps about 60 or so in Rome and flies them to this compound when they need repairs. Forbes says a unique part about his collection is each car is driven nearly every day. Employees on the compound spend their days driving and working on the vehicles. Some of his cars, like his 1940 Nash Ambassador 8 convertible end up costing more than they’re worth. One of his employees says, “So financially it doesn’t make sense, but historically, it does. If this car was not saved by Mr. Bulgari, you would only see it in books.”

Tim Allen
It turns out Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor really does have a thing for tools and cars. The Home Improvement star has an impressive collection in his home in Los Angeles, and an equally impressive garage to match. Like Bulgari, he says he prefers mostly American-made automobiles, and he has an extensive number of Chevrolet’s in his collection. In this GQ video, Allen took us through his garage to see some of the standouts of his collection. One of his most notable cars being his 1965 Shelby Cobra, less than 1,000 of which were built in total.
Ralph Lauren
This menswear mogul keeps his car collection in a warehouse just about 40 minutes outside of Manhattan. With multiple floors and mechanics working constantly to keep the cars in perfect working condition, it’s nothing short of a museum. Auto Week says the warehouse feels something like the Batcave, to which Lauren responds that “Part of growing up is never growing up. I don’t think I’m Batman…but I think I’m Bruce Wayne. And my house is Bruce Manor!” One especially impressive addition to Lauren’s famous collection is the McLaren F1 LM. It’s one of just five built in the world.
